HSH Nordbank appoints new IT head

Hamburg/Kiel, June 25, 2010 - The Management Board of HSH Nordbank has appointed Torsten Arens (42) as the new Head of IT effective 1 October 2010.

In his new role, he will report directly to the Bank’s Chief Operating Officer, Ulrich Voss.

Torsten Arens is currently head of corporate IT at UBS Deutschland in Frankfurt. Holding a doctorate in physics, he worked for many years for the Accenture consulting agency in Frankfurt as a proven expert in information technology specific to the financial services sector.
