AerCap takes delivery of 100th Airbus in Hamburg

Hamburg/Kiel, September 15, 2010 - Airbus will today deliver the 100th aircraft to international aircraft leasing group of companies AerCap.

The Airbus A320 is on a long-term lease to US-carrier Spirit Airlines and will depart for its ferry flight to the United States later today. HSH Nordbank provided pre-delivery finance for the aircraft.

The 100 Airbus aircraft are comprised of the A319, A320, A321 and A330 types with a total value of almost ten billion US dollars according to the catalogue price. They were assembled in Hamburg and Toulouse.

The Airbus delivered today forms part of a finance package deal for A319/320/321 aircraft. HSH Nordbank provided pre-delivery finance for the aircraft with a total volume of 270 million US dollars. The aircraft will be delivered by mid-2012.
