HSH Nordbank appoints new Chief Operating Officer

Hamburg/Kiel, November 17, 2009 - The Management Board of HSH Nordbank has today appointed Ulrich Voß Chief Operating Officer of the Bank with the status of ‘Generalbevollmächtigter’.

Effective December 1, 2009, Voß will be responsible for the Transaction Services and IT/Organization units.

Ulrich Voß is a proven expert in transaction banking, banking IT and restructurings of many years’ standing. He joined McKinsey & Company in Boston, United States, in 1995, and subsequently transferred to their German office. Since 2005 he has been the responsible partner of the German office and Head of the Banking Operations & IT Group. In this position he has advised banks in Germany, further countries of Western and Central Europe, of Turkey and the Middle East.

Ulrich Voß holds a degree in industrial engineering (Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur), and a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University. He is married and has four children.
