Hamburg Commerical Bank has implemented a whistleblower system for its employees as well as customers, suppliers and external employees. If you observe a suspicious circumstance in which you suspect a criminal offence or develop a clear feeling of disturbance, you can submit your information confidentially to the external ombudsman at any time.
The ombudsman will receive your information confidentially and forward it anonymously to Compliance for clarification. The ombudsman can guarantee whistleblowers the highest possible level of confidentiality and non-disclosure of their identity, including vis-à-vis Hamburg Commercial Bank. Hamburg Commercial Bank therefore also waives all claims for information and disclosure within the scope of the client relationship insofar as the anonymity of the whistleblower could be jeopardised. The whistleblower therefore remains anonymous to the Bank.
